Dr Gloria has worked and studied in India, Malaysia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. She completed her basic dental training in Penang International Dental College, Malaysia in 2011. She worked as a general dentist in public and private practice for 5 years. In 2015, she completed a bridging course for foreign trained- dentists in the University of Otago, New Zealand. She then continued working for a year in her hometown. In 2016, she moved to London where she completed her 3 year- specialist training in orthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital in the University College of London, UK.
Dr Gloria is a member of various professional bodies including the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, the British and the European Orthodontic Society and soon to be the Australian Society of Orthodontists. She is also a member of the Australian Dental Association and the World Federation of Orthodontists. Some of Dr Gloria’s special interests are early orthodontic treatment in growing children and adolescents.
Her research interests focus on growth and its influence on the occlusal plane, with her most recent presentation at the European Orthodontic Congress in Nice, France in 2019.
Outside of work Dr Gloria loves a game of tennis, running, cooking, learn to kitesurf and spending time with her husband and baby daughter.
